Small objects carry a room. Solstice pairs a hand-blown ribbed glass column with an antique brass base that weighs a proper 1.8 kg, and a rolled linen shade that throws a warm, even pool of light.

The brass is unlacquered, so it will patina gently over the years. A cloth brings back the shine whenever you want it.
